i think these etchings have a really clever concept, i like the way the image carries on past the paper which has been embossed by the printing plate. this is something i could consider in my drypoint etching designs, creating a etch of a object, and then using another media (e.g. pen) and drawing on another object/image to turn it into something else, creating a nonsense scene. e.g a etching a mushroom and then after printing it, drawing down from the stem and splitting the stem into tentacles, turning it into a octopus.
