ideas for printed pictures etched zine - imagination

opposites /nosence -: lion that squeaks. mouse that rawrs. cat that barks. parrots that moo etch
thought this idea for a zine would be humorous and would suit children and adult audience. i was inspired by the quote 'nothing would be what is was, because everything would be how it isn't'
adding text after talking etch through the print process so the text will not be flipped.
could play around with adding splashes of colour to illustrate animal further.
taking animals names and creating literal illustrations
dragon fly
snakeflies
ear wig
butterfly
horsefly
catapillar
sword fish
cabbage white butterfly
bold eagle
flying fish - fish with wings
cat fish
batt - a bat
clown fish
centipeed - a ruler
parrot fish

i feel i tend to over think ideas and think literally in illustrations projects i have been set in the past... so i thought why not take advantage of this and create literal illustrations.

like my previous idea i think this could come across quite humorous. i also thought it touches upon aspects in lewis carrols literature - he makes dandelions have lions heads, caterpillars with cats heads etc.

problems with both ideas
is the concept of lewis carroll being lost?
or is this me being to literal again in thinking my illustrations need to explain the entirety of my project.
