creating nonsense scenes and playing around with composition and format

taking objects with relevance to lewis carroll and combining them to create a 'nonsense' scene.

why i choose the objects
keys - links to alice is wonderland and lewis carroll struggling sense of identity - i.e. not been able to open the door back to he's childhood
umbrella- victorian, and links to where he lived - England
garden mushrooms - nature and they are included in he's literature
top hat - fashion for victorian man
brain- symbolise he's ability and he's mother was said to have died from inflammation on the brain.
dodo and knight - characters based on himself
ruler- symbolise hes maths background
teapot- used in alice in wonderland
rugby ball- he went to rugby school as a young teenager

i decided to use photoshop to quickly layer up some images to i can work on composition and decide what object i can put with what to create a narrative and a nonsense scene.
i found this harder than i thought, though the senses i am making do not need to make scene i wanted them to imitate a actual scene - just with different absurd objects - i.e. knight riding a dodo: imitating a knight/man riding a horse.
