norman rockwell

i really love how norman rockwell captures moments that are natural. though these are natural, he still manages to make them look like they were meant to be/posed for a purpose,he manages to do exactly what i aim to do in this project- capuring  moment that would be unnoticed as they are day to day occurrences, but by highlighting them, they become special scenes. - celebrates the everyday life. 

POSTCARD IDEA INSPIRATION: i like the idea of capturing these everyday scenes on postcards, as it is the opposite of what scene we would normally post on a postcard (holiday destination, situations we don't find ourselves in often, a posed picture). the concept of sending a postcard like this is very nostalgic and i feel reiterates the idea of celebrating the ordinary and sharing situations with other that have shared a situation very similar- a shared ordinary, connecting people together and making us feel we are all the same.
