Appreciating design - form over function? function over form?

| i love the composition of objects within this piece and how the artist has taken time to accurately overlay each objects in the chaotic scene. in real life, we would look at a table like this and think 'clutter' but by turning into a illustration, each object is appreciated as a piece of design- it makes you remember that all of the objects on the table has a thought process and design decision made for them by their creator/designer. e.g the label on the jam jar, this will have be designed several times to create the perfect label illustration. |
