thinking about ways to present/show work

i like the idea of creating a book, much like how Kate Bingaman did in the 'obsessive consumption' book below, with the idea of drawing objects everyday in a book format ma suit the area of narrative more as its narrating my everyday habits :-

a book is an ideal way to show the journey of a story/narrative.
i dont think i would add text to the images, i want the images to narrate themselves. i would want the portrait drawings to capture the character of the person i chose to focus on

i could possibly focus on my own or a family members collection of objects.
to take this idea further, i could focus on a family member, drawing objects that i feel visually describe them or draw objects that remind me of them. i could possibly create a repeated pattern of the object on each page like the drawings below.

if i was  to just focus on objects, though  i like the idea of showing a collection on the same page like a pattern, the artist above (Lorraine Loots) has inspired me to think small, i could potentially draw many objects at a small scale and fit them into a tiny book. i think this is a really lovely idea.
