in my sketch book i took the idea of 10 different flavours of mcflurries and experimented with different medias and different drawing/painting styles eg- detailed, block, realistic, simple shape.

here i have experimented with block water colour and simple to to create the illustration ( top left) here i have used block colour no line (top right) here i have used tone to create contrast and line on top to give a more realistic feel (bottom right) though i using always go for realism, i actually preferred the style of block colour and line as i think it made for a stronger bolder illustration. i also feel that though the shape of the mcflurry tub is not to exact likeness it was still recognisable as a mcflurry- which sometimes is alll you need. |
