Experimentation

I didn't want this work to be too flat, instead, I wanted interesting textures to add depth through paint.

-Working on different coloured stock to add another layer of depth to the image because Pandas are already B &W. 

-Use of grey paint on top of the white to add more depth

-Applied second layer of white in some areas to build depth and variation to white. 

-Painted on top of drawn, sketchy line.

testing using pencil on paint to see if this worked. i liked this technique better then using grey paint to add shadow and it alowed me to be more controlled with a pencil. 

testing out my white pen on the black paint to see if the black paint absorbed it. luckily it didn't which meant i could go ahead and write the Chinese letters onto the bear illustration with this pen.
