Favourite ideas including initial

This idea was to illustrate the word girlfriend whilst incorporating the initial w.

Liked the subtlness of the initial posing as  a tree.

• The information that my partner gave was that he was upbeat, so I used a play on words and drew beetroot to represent the 'beat' and then raised the beetroot characters to represent the 'up' in the word upbeat.

• developing the idea I drew a panda to represent China and incorporated his initials in the illustration, I experimented with slightly different designs to emphasise the Chinese culture.
