line & mark - introduction to brief.

'have always the courage to draw it yourself' 
 we have been set a 2 week task to produce monacrombe drawings using a minimum of 10 different tools creating 3 drawings per tool exploring line and mark.
tools to consider:
brush
ink
pen
fine line
pencil
flet tip
crayon

we had to choose one visual subject to work from, i think i will choose to explore either food, ingredients, kitchen cooking or Shakespeare plays.

i think this brief will teach me how to create images without having to focus on shading- something i find i always look to do. it will also help me discover other ways to show tone with line instead of shading and tubing (with pencil).
