Replacing text

i was not 100% happy with the text that is attached to the templates, although it creates a strong sense of reality, i don't feel it is needed to communicate the idea of clothing templates, i feel the scizzor marks and measurements do this enough.

Quotes from the book:

• I have only ever found loneliness.
•  “My earliest childhood”. Those words, which are usually linked together, make me shudder.
• it’s with what cannot be taught that one succeeds.
•  ‘I am the only volcanic crater in the Auvergne that is not extinct’
• “These colours are impossible. These women, I’m bloody well going to dress them in black.”

here i have experimented with replacing the textile information with quotes from the book, this way the context of a design template instruction is still insinuated but the quotes create a stronger link to the book. 

by taking away the text that was from the textile clothing template will also make my design illustration more of a interpretation of the reference material, not an exact replica.
