| i tried to replicate the style above here, i thought the added bursts of colour would be an ideal way to create a focal point to the figures, i also liked that the different depths of lines would make the figure standout, i have used a lighter thickness of pen to add detail to the face and clothing. |

| though i do think this technique could be developed to a professional standard, for my theme of appreciation and unnoticed moment, i think i need a technique which will allow me to capture more intricate details. i feel the pens i have used here make it hard to draw the unique features of persons face whereas with pencil i can shade and build up tone. |
