i think my designs will appeal to the younger demographic of aged 5-9 girls as i have used bright, pastel colours, and have tried to avoid outlining with bold dark lines to keep a uplifting feel which isn't restricted, adding to the wondrous, free-flowing context of the book.
although i have directed the design to this audience, i feel it will attract gift givers due to its light hearted, enchanting and approriate feel. i have also illustrated alice in the iconic blue and white dress, this will hopefully drawn audiences into the book who will attach the child friendly, imaginative representation of previous alice in wonderland books they themselves are familiar with.
