this is my initial technique experiment i want to experiment on with different images in my book.
used a different colour paper- think the paper is to bold taking focus away from figure.
just using one paper stock on the page looks very random- like it is not meant to be there.
works better with lighter paper stocks, and more then one paper stock.
however on this one i think i have added to much pencil detail making face look quite dark and finished(whereas my first example was a unfinished sketch which i felt worked better) leaving no use for the colour pencil as i used this for adding tone.
again i don't like the colour paper stock i have used here as it is to bold and dark, and on this one i feel have added to much colour pencil instead, making the figures face look more complete- when i only wanted to give the impression of a fave with a slight sketch.
