i really like the effect of a image/idea/imagination emerging from nothing/a plain background, it is said that peoples brains creates shapes and imagine things from looking at the simplest of things because the brain gets bored - i.e. seeing objects in clouds.
the use of negative space really emphasises the scene inside the splash.
