though i liked the splashes of brusho paint in combination with the pencil sketch, decided to experiment with collage to see if a block of collage colour would be more effective. i also wanted to make the kite in the image more prominent as it is the object that both figures are focused on, also because kites are usually brightly coloured i thought this would be a perfect opportunity to use more colour.
to finish off the picture i added the outline of the trousers.
i also experimented with loosing the collage of the clothing to make the kite the focal point to exaggerate its colour.
