as i have experimented with adding the marbling microscope pattern i have experimented with adding the floral pattern to see which one works best with the toothpaste drawing.
i feel the pattern is too bold against the drawing, especially with the background of the drawing being blue, the background of the pattern is too white in comparison.
i have lowered the opacity of the pattern to blend it in with the background better and make it more subtle, though this is better it has made me realise i don't think the blue background works, i think i f i was to keep the blue background, i would need to make the white colour in the tube more prominent.
here i have played around with adding a very subtle overlay of the microscope pattern as well, however this looks too busy and clashes too much.
