adding collage paint texture

i adding the collage texture on photoshop by selected the area of the drawing that was going to be filled wight  he pattern and deleting it. unfortunately the area that was wing deleted was the area with the writing on. because the writing was small this made it had to deselect so it wouldn't be deleted. 

before adding the pattern i adjusted the levels to get rid of any marks on the paper and create a strong contrast between the whites and the blacks.

i also did the same to the pattern to make the colours more bold and vibrant. 

i also like this edit, because the combination of the paper colour and the white pen help define a difference between the background and the product subtly

however, though this concept (colour paper) is also used here, the paper colour is to dark and the white does not work as wel to define the products. 

i have tried to improve on making the product stand out from the background by deleting the surrounding paper colour so the background is white. however because the brown colour is so bold, it overpowers the white that i have used to colour in the product making the product look primarily brown.
