to solve the problem of not being able to add the pattern behind the letters, i decided to draw the letters at a bigger scale separately from the rest of the drawing so it would be easier to select and delete the area around them.
i have again played around with adding both patterns here, though it makes the image more colourful i think it again makes it to bust and makes the writing hard to read.
i wasn't happy with the look of the label, i felt it didn't look like a real label, so i added a border around it to see if this helped. i think this works a lot better, i think it draws more attention to the pattern aswell.
