creating the signs

we wanted to make the signs as realistic as possible to the original sign, to make it look like our sign could easily be added to the ad and perhaps would not even be noticed until read closely. also i personally feel sometimes when you read/see something you think is 'pants' you automatically change  /rearrange the works or imaged in your head anyways, so this idea is really just a way to visually communicate what we might actually image the sign to say. 

 for the kfc sign, we wanted to recreate the elements of the 'so good' sign but change the wording to make our point.  

we wanted to add a hand drawn, personal touch to the signs so i drew the logo of the kfc to match the original sign. 

then digitally we recreated the text, researching into the fonts used on the kfc sign and copying the colours to make our sign look as similar as possible.
