limitations of technologies and processes
paper stocks- what would be the best paper stock to celebrate the quality of the images.
found there was not a vast amount of paper stocks to choose from in the printing room other than glossy, satin or matt. i decided to use Matt paper to print onto to replicate the paper you would find in a commercial book.
i do find the paper i printed onto was slightly less dense than i would of hoped for, i would of preferred my pages/book to be more weighty stock as i think this would of added to the value and quality of the images.
Binding my book
i decided to use staple binding as this process is ideal for fixing small page publications together. i think this method is more about practicality than aesthetics as it was very straight forward and produces a clean folder publication, yet does not have the authenticity of say a stitch or perfect bond book.
i found there was not much choice of book binding at blenhiem walk unlike Veron street, however i felt the practicality of stable binding at blenhiem walk outweight the choice of other techniques as it would be a inconvenience to make my way down there especially due to the limited times available that i was able to print my book at blenhiem walk. also, though i have had a induction on simple book binding techniwques, i would need to refresh my memory which would also take time and my outcome may not look as proffesional due to my amateur status.
different bindings
staple binding - for small publications, practicality more than aestethics
stitching- authentic, handmade quality. - tricky could look amateur and is for one off productions.
perfect bound- preferably for books with multiple pages such as vogue magazine.
benefits of printing at blenhiem walk:
the facilities allowed me to properly produce a book due to double sided printing which helped me create a stragergied book allowing the book to look more complete (disagreeing blank backs of pages) giving it a professional finish.

limitations of applying my work into the environment:
basing my campaign formats on exsisting charity campaigns i have created resolutions that would be applied to larger formats such as train station billboards and bus shelter. these format sizes would be unpractical for me to print as the print facilities available to me could not print to this size, the cost would be exterminate, and i have no means of adding them to a billboard myself therefore i have created mock-ups of my resolutions onto these platforms to give a impression of what my campaign will appear like in the environments stated.
