because my images are meant to create a positive reaction, i was unsure weather the colour grey is creating the right tone of voice as it is quite a dull colour.

br /> above i have experimented with adding pastle colours to try and commicate a happier feeling. i asked my flat mates which designs they thought worked best;
robyn said that the colour does draw your eye to the figures more but did not know weather this was necessary, she felt the grey managed to outline the figures to create their focus without causing distraction. she felt if i was to use a colour people might think more about the colour that the image i.e 'thats a nice colour'
however she does feel colouring the text will give the same effect (positivity).

though i do like the colour around the figures i agree with robyn that it is just there for the aesthetics and doesn't necessary add or highlight the concept any more-infact it probably distract us from the concept.
