The colour palette was restricted as I was taking influence from the gold and blues previously used by the company on their existing previous packaging designs to make sure I would be creating work to their taste and to make sure my designs would remain recognisable to the product by existing customers. However I found when using these colours with the portrait that was pencil and detailed, they detracted from the illustrated image of his face.
