first Intended briefs... where am i upto?....should i change some?

Brief 1: winston churchill
i have already met the deadline for this brief! so at least that is one out of the way...however i could develop on the deliverables as Teresa suggested to make it a more substantial brief... although i do feel i spend a significant amount of time developing my concept and technique with this brief already.

Brief 2: Bradford map
i have started this brief tackling the part i was least looking forward to , the maps. i am now waiting on photographs being sent to me by the client to draw the building and people to depict a more intimate documentation of bradford.

Brief 3: Children's book
as i have agreed this brief with my client and he is a paying customer i cant change this brief.... even though i wish i could now! i am worried that it will be very difficult for me to produce a children's book which has such precise (descriptive) scenes as i am used to drawing from reference or singular objects that require detail. however, the client knows my style and has pointed me to certain pieces of work i have done (which are singular objects/people) that he likes the style of... so i have messaged him my idea of how to produce the pages, depicting certain objects/people in the scene, instead of all of the scene to see if he is ok with it.
after discussions with patrick, he feels that the whole scene doesn't need to be depicted anyway as the writing with allow you to imagine the scenic, the images are just a prompt.

brief 4: Wedding merchandise
i have only done a few development pieces with this brief, and as it is something i am doing for my sister's wedding (not asked for or paid for) it is technically one i could loose if another brief came up, however i was looking forward to a brief that is aesthetics driven and did not require a heavy amount of research.

Brief 5: branding
i was asked to produce a van design, web design business card design etc for a local tradesman, however this was not a urgent or particularly important brief so could be one i could do later in the year if another brief came up.

As the majority of these are client based with loose briefs that i could have some freedom with, i wasn't sure weather choosing another competition brief would be useful for diversity and stricter requirements (to push myself)
